Hi and Welcome to this site which is a Genealogical site covering the GRIMASON surname and variants worldwide plus as many as possible of those who Adopted the GRIMSHAW surname as well and includes the GRIMESEY surname and variants of that surname.
In this site you will find index’s of what I have found and Family Pedigrees built from a number of records, note I say Pedigrees as more than one family line or branch is covered.
What I have transcribed is based on Church Records, Birth, Marriage and Death Records and where possible Census records.
I have done this to help you with your Ancestry and also with the Aim of helping family find kin they did not know of before.
What would really help is that Males of this Family Take a Y DNA test, a 37 Marker minimum would be a good starting point as to why the Y DNA.
This is Due to the fact that the Y gene is passed down from Father to Son.

As for the Church records to see the source of this information does require feet on the ground as none of this as far as I am aware is yet online, and that means a visit to the Public Records Office Northern Ireland (PRONI), in Belfast to view these or the really expensive option is to get a Professional researcher to visit and transcribe records for you, be warned they charge by the hour.
What you will find on this site and more so with the Actual Pedigrees which are free to check out, they are all based on the Paper trail for each family, if you wish to check what I have managed to piece together you are more than welcome to do so and verify the facts.
