On April 18, 2024, Mark Grimason of South Dennis Massachusetts passed peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends after trying to heal from cancer over the past 18 months.
Mark was born on January 24, 1955, and grew up in South Windsor, Connecticut. He attended South Windsor High School and graduated from Roger Williams University.
He is predeceased by his parents Eunice and William Grimason. He leaves behind his loving brother Dave Grimason and Dave’s wife Fran. Along with his nephews Ryan Grimason and Dan Grimason and Dan’s partner Morgan, his niece Courtney Dall’Olmo and her husband Alex. He also leaves behind his great nephews and nieces Evan and Isla and Addy and Teddy.
Mark also leaves his long-time partner Eileen Kusky and many other life-long friends. He was amazed by his friends at Dennis Pickleball with how much they care for each other and how much they did for him.
Mark enjoyed life including the outdoors. He was an avid skier, mountain biker, sea kayaker and pickleball player. He also enjoyed wildlife photography that took him many places in the world including Tanzania, Galapagos Islands and Costa Rica.
He had a successful career in the lumber business where even in his last days he was calling on customers and making sales.
